SMU, slightly ahead of Rice.
The Cox School of Business at SMU is exceptional. Plus the campus is pristine and in a great area of Dallas.

Rice Helps With Tuition

But all hope is not lost. Rice University , one of the nation’s top 20 universities , has announced that it will now offer free tuition for students from middle-income families. The Rice Investment program will offer students with family incomes between $65,000 and $130,000 full tuition scholarships.
Moreover, students with family incomes between $130,000 and $200,000 will receive half-scholarships covering 50 percent or more of their tuition. If the family makes below $65,000, not only will the student get a full-tuition scholarship, but they won’t have to pay any fees, with room and board covered.
Yep.
Very badass what they're doing over there. They're going to get some really fricking smart kids because of that. The demand from top students from low-to-middle income families will sky rocket.

Don’t know much about SMU or Rice but I work with some Tulane grads and I am not impressed

Agreed that it is a good program, but they're late to the game with this type of need based aid for a university in their range. Emory for example has been doing a similar program for 10-15 years.

Studies have shown if you are majoring in science it doesn't matter where you go - your abilities will get you where you are going. If you are majoring in business, then it matters.
Science - go to least expensive decent school.
Business - go where you can make connections.

Rice is the best school out of the 3 but you can definitely marry into money at SMU which may be the best option.
But honestly whatever one didn’t leave me with undergrad debt.
