That step back 3 before the half was amazing. He just needs to cut down his turnovers. But wow I would love to have him. Dude is so fun to watch.

And I think on that you have to give him some leeway because he literally has 2-4 defenders guarding him or zoning him during any prolonged period he has the ball.

Also Ja is one rebound away from a triple double.

EDIT: and as I finish hitting send he now has it.

Yeah you’re right. They are doubling him like crazy and he is finding the open man easily.

I've always said he's the one we need on this team.

He's been my pick that i would love to have over everyone else. I think he's the best player in the draft and will fit perfectly with Jrue.

Imagine Jrue being his mentor and working with him on defense.

There’s no hyperbole here when you say ridiculous. He has absolutely been ridiculous, amazing, whatever hyperbolic adjective you want to use today. It’s actually true.

that last bucket of his in the paint, getting his man in the air and going under reminded me a LOT of Jrue

Hit one of the lottery spots.

Trade AD to NY.

Ja/Jrue/Zion core.

I see John Wall with more of a dog mentality

Morant is a better passer

I think they just said he scored or assisted on 56 of their points today.

One guy basically just produced 88% of the scoring output of the entire Marquette team today.

Westbrook is a once in a lifetime type of athlete, when you consider all his traits plus his stamina. I don't think Morant is THAT

Young Wall was a tier below that but he had better vision, which I think Morant has too. Westbrook racks up assists because the ball is always in his hands but Wall got them because of his vision.

If we landed the #3 overall pick by chance would it be worth to trade to #2 to get him? If we are going into rebuild mode giving up an additional first rounder to just insure we get our guy seems like itd be a heavy price... however I really do like the prospect of Ja in New Orleans... Ja, Jrue, Tatum core is a solid

My question is “how many guys are worth drafting in this class?”

Zion and Ja are givens. Is there anyone else worth a high first and, if so, would we have the ammo to trade up and get them separate from any AD trade?

The drop from 1/2 is pretty damn steep imo.

I don’t think we’ll see the level of depth that last years class had, where all 5 picks 1-5 look like they will at minimum be good players.

If the drop is that steep, being at #3 is a curse this year.

Let’s hope we don’t draft someone like a Hasheem Thabeet type player because Zion and Ja are off the board.
