The sound of your child barfing in the middle of the night.
Not so much for the sound itself, though it is gross -- but more so for the fact that it means
1. Your kid is really sick
2. There's more to come
3. nobody is getting any sleep for the rest of the night

I’ve heard the last breath of 5 family members. And after the first one I knew the exact sound when the others made it. That is the worst sound I’ve ever heard and I can hear it in my dreams now.
