Attending Essence Fest 2019

Plenty of people of various hues attend Essence. It is one of the great people watching opportunities of the year in NO, just for the outfits.

Attending Essence Fest 2019
I am a brown woman who has a large group of black women in my circle. I know Essence Fest is primarily celebrated for Black Women but want to go to essence fest to celebrate my friends and others! Do only black women attend essence fest or should I stay home on this one?

a group of brown and black ladies of distinction will be well celebrated at essence fest.

It should be a fun event for a group of gals. There's stuff going on at the Convention Center throughout the weekend and of course the event itself at the Super Dome. I would avoid the quarter at night and hang out in the Warehouse Dist.or even uptown, tons of bars and restaurants to choose from.
