The power of running as a leg workout yet most people neglect it and are scared they're going to "lose muscle mass"

LOL if you think Wade runs. He's got an extreme muffin top no runner would have.

As he has each and every day — every single day — since January 2015, when he was still the second-year head coach at Tennessee-Chattanooga, Wade ran at least one mile

That's 1,000 days and counting for the energetic 34-year-old Wade, who was introduced as LSU's new coach on March 22.

1-2 miles a day isnt going to do shite

needs to be 5-10 miles a day for jogging to have any real benefit from a body composition standpoint

I don't believe it. If hes been running everyday for 4 years and looks like that around the waist, he has no hope and the worst genes ever.

calves are one of those genetic things. Running does not make your calves look like that

Nah. Jogging 1 mile is honestly pretty pointless. It only burns around 130-170 calories

That isnt shite

Tell me about it

I used to run miles a day on a tennis court, paired with multiple heavy leg days and plyo days for legs

Legs got strong and powerful, still looked like twigs

Meanwhile, I had beer drinking buddies who didnt do shite that looked like bodybuilders in their legs

Further evidence that nutrition and being at a calorie deficit is crucial to burning body fat.

Jog a mile and burn 140 calories

Eat an energy bar right after that has 175 calories

Running for 12 minutes a day won't do shite. He'd be better walking briskly for 30.

Yeah, if you're just running to lose weight because of being fat. Running a mile daily is good for your heart.

Wade usually runs much more than a mile each day from what I heard him say once, but he committed to at least 1 mile each day regardless of circumstances. It was something another coach was doing to improve his committment level to things. Wade thought it was stupid, but then had a change of opinion and tried it.
