Smart not cleared, Advocate deleted article

To me those two have to go hand in hand. Not sure how you justify clearing Smart if you're worried about Wade paying him and having the season forfeit. If the player he paid is playing it's done anyway.
I'm happy Smart is back either way because frankly it doesn't matter either way since ain't nothing proven.

Don’t try to get in the head of this administration man. They don’t actually put any thought into their decisions. It’s all 100% knee jerk reactionary decisions. Suspending Wade was reactionary to the press(that meeting excuse is fricking bullshite), benching Smart was reactionary. And now, clearing smart is reactionary to the fan base.

They certainly could. but if they suspend Wade because he missed a meeting.. and then LSU lost in the first round.. it would almost certainly be their asses.
