Sorry to keep using this source, but I couldn't pass this one up either.

Take my damn money if true even though it's an unconfirmed rumor.

"The Disney/Fox merger has resulted in many changes for The Walt Disney Company, including the acquisition of Fox’s film, TV studio, broadcast network, several cable channels, Star India and, most importantly, the company’s Marvel characters, which an unconfirmed rumor, states could now be merged together in this possible new film where the X-Men would fight the Avengers."

Current rumors suggest we'll be getting either X-Men or Fantastic 4 in 2022. I'm betting on X-Men.

Yes. The fight between the X-Men and the Avengers will last 5 minutes on an airport tarmac according to my source in the industry.

I would hope it's at least a decade away.

No way you can give something like that the proper stakes any sooner.

Should have been done while Jackman was still in his prime.

Jackman's Wolverine vs. The Avengers would have been awesome.

Knowing nothing about comics, who would be the bad guys in this movie? Or would it be more along the lines of Civil War?

Would love some combo of Mr. Sinister, Dr. Doom and Carnage. Would require an insane amount of crossover, but good god would I pay to see it.

I just don't see how the X-Men could beat the Avengers. Adamantium isn't cutting through Hulks skin.

Maybe with Phoenix? Idk.

I'm really hoping that FF4 is next on the docket.
It would be easier and would be easier to move on from the Fox Universe since their previous attempts where terrible, no one would long for those characters.

Plus with Silver Surfer, Galactus and Doom, you have some top notch antagonists.

I'd rather see the Fantastic 4, just because I want Galactus in the MCU.

I'd rather have a Marvel vs Capcom movie.

As cool as it would be to have Spider-Man and Wolverine on the screen at the same time, I think I'd prefer the two universes to stay separate. Or at least have them as in alternate dimensions. There's already enough "where was Iron Man when Captain America was in trouble?" talk. Having even more superheroes like the X-Men would make those even harder to defend.

Personally. Idk if im in favor. Just because you can, doesn't necessarily mean you should. Personally, I like both teams having their own universe. Maybe, if they portray it as their 2 worlds colliding in a one-off movie. Thats the only way.

I don't want Marvel to stuff too many characters in this movie universe. I really fear that could dilute the product after a while

I have to say even in the comics I’m opposed to the X-Men and Avengers being in the same universe. It just doesn’t make sense why the mutants are reviled but Captain America and Thor are not. The universes just clash IMO. Like where were they in all these movies? You’d think Magneto would be there fighting Ultron.
