Waters hasn’t learned from late game antics. That was a bad decision. Just take the guaranteed two.

That could cost you the game in the last minute of a 3 point game that is hard fought.

Just told one of my kids that in that situation, you take the easy lay up. Up by only 5 in a dog fight late in the game, you take the high percentage shot.

If the pass wasn’t perfect you know Mays would have gone to the ground with the ball and laid it up. It wasn’t very risky. You saw waters triple check for defenders before doing it and it had the team pumped up.

All of this. Not exactly what you like to see in that game situation, but a miss likely results in an uncontested rebound and easy layup.
