California GOP picks Latina woman to lead historic 'Republican comeback'

The California Republican Party chose 38-year-old Jessica Patterson as its leader on Monday, and the first-ever woman to chair the state GOP wasted no time in vowing to "take the fight to Democrats" and lead a "Republican comeback" in the liberal stronghold.
Patterson is the first Latina to lead the state party. She did not make her personal heritage a major piece of her campaign, but said the party needs to use "new messengers."
Help me out here! I'm not familiar with her background. Jessica Patterson doesn't exactly ring Latina to me. Anyone?

Her mother's name is Julie Millan. I've been doing some searches but am not coming up with anything. Just hoping she's not Latina like Pocahontas is American Indian.

I heard on the radio today that she’s pushing Trumps agenda bc the Rs realize they took an L in the Midterms bc the Rs that lost were a bunch of RINOs who ran away from Trump. At least that part of the GOP has realized that Trump’s issues resonate with his base.

Nothing special.
She backed guliani for president.
She was with Whitman who had infinite resources and lost by 4 million votes.
She did get schwartzenegger elected in the special election with 30 candidates and him being famous won.
