Sure seemed that way yesterday....CPD quashed the hoax "rumor" with the quickness and even specified they still considered him a victim. You know they HATE to have to charge this criminal with his crimes. State and feds alike. Jussie checks too many boxes.

He cannot claim it was a dumb mistake. The idiot has made the TV circuit doubling and tripling down on the story, as late as yesterday. He made the report and kept actively pushing the narrative. This will hopefully come back to haunt him at his sentencing hearing.

Stories like this and the whole current societal discourse/vibe feels like we're circling the drain. Thousands of real attacks have happened since this hoax, and we all know why this one was covered hard by the MSM..just like Covington kids. A 5th grader sleuth smelled BS on this story from jump street, but not coastal elite educated reporters.
There is a hunt going on to character assassinate a certain demographic by any means.

After so many of these types of claims happening, and pretty much all of them being obvious hoaxes, the police are looking at any of these incidents with suspicion now.
When they heard it, they thought the same thing as most people on this board.
Problem with that is, if a real incident happened now, the cops might laugh it off, and that would be bad.

Agreed. It hurts future actual victims who will be looked upon with skepticism when they shouldnt. These things also further strain already frayed tensions on a larger scale. The judge presiding over the case also needs to disallow financial gain from interviews, a book deal regarding the matter IF he pleads or is found guilty.
