This is a case of Dems winning a battle but losing the war.
This has effectively ended the "gotcha" politics and the #MeToo #BelieveWomen all at the same time. If you get caught, just apologize and move on. Threats from Dems and media are now just all bark and no bite from this point forward.
Al Franken must be pissed at himself for giving in to the MUST RESIGN NOW mafia.

This is definitely a win for Trump and Republicans. The Dems have now lost their main(and maybe only weapon), which is constantly claiming moral high ground on the topic of racism and other “social issues”.
