cesarean section or induced...right?

Yeah, it’s called deliver the baby if mom’s in trouble. Might spend a few weeks in NICU, but the baby will be fine, and if there was any danger like Preclampsia, etc. well then, so is the Mom. I don’t know how anyone does not know this???????

I don’t agree with his stance on abortion. The horror, myself and another person aren’t in exact, lock-step synchronicity on every topic unlike the Democrats.

Yup....
I told my wife on election day that I was gladly voting for Trump even tho' I know there will be many things he will do as President I disagree with.....it's called being an intelligent, reasonable adult....

A physician shouldn’t have to break the law to abort a fetus in an instance where it is a danger to the mother’s life.
There is no circumstance I'm aware of in which lateterm abortion would be a safer maternal option than delivery, either by SVD or C/S. Supposed maternal safety is a feel-good exception to encourage public support for policy which would never actually require the exclusion.
But let's be clear. Health and certainly the life of the mother is paramount, both in medicine AND in existing law. There is not a state in the country which rights of the unborn supercede health/life of parturant.
We need no new law to establish that.
It is already the law.
So when health of the mother is used as rationale for late-term abortion, your antennas should go up.
It is a bogus clause added for bogus purpose.
(a) Late-term abortion is not the safest option for severely health compromised parturants. C/S or SVD in a controlled medical setting are.
(b) In conjunction with "(a)", existing law in every state in the country ALREADY allows for ISVD or C/S as a medical intervention to preserve health of the mother.

I know we have some physicians on this board. So what about it, doctors. Agree? Disagree?

Red herring regarding late term pregnancy. Sounds great to the lay public, but it's complete garbage in medical terms.
There is no circumstance in which care of a woman would be more safely administered at an abortion clinic rather than in a C-section suite, if she needed to end a late-term pregnancy. Nor BTW is there a situation in which c-section intervention would be denied her to save her life, regardless of abortion law.

I stand with Trump. 20 weeks for abortion. Anything after must be to save a mother's life or in cases of non viability. He has laid this out as his position and I'm with him. Hell even I can do with a week or 2 shorter than 20 weeks. Trump loves him some dead babies though.
Changing your tune pretty quickly from the pro-infanticide rantings you were espousing last week.

I don't really recall. I know if I was giving anyone a difficult time it was probably bc they posted something from a conservative rag that had no basis in reality. As your kind tends to do on here. Like suggesting infanticide is a position of the left.

The mother does not want the pregnancy, so she should not be responsible. Taxpayers? Adoptive parents?
Now, multiply that by how many such abortions per year? 50k? 100k?

You mean like when you tried to justify late term abortions by posting an abortion that happened at 16 weeks?

New York, Rhode Island, Virginia make a strong case that it is pro-infanticide. Not to mention the lack of outcry over Northam's comments from anyone on the left. Instead they try throw out the black face pictures so he'll shut up about it and not make his comments public knowledge.

They can't be honest and say they don't want the inconvenience of raising a child.
Maybe I should be a cold eugenicist like a horse or dog breeder and just hope that stupid, selfish women that can't be inconvenienced are slowly eliminating the stupid selfish gene from the gene pool.

Well for not arguing "in favor" of one side or another, you sure as shite are painting abortion as an economic budgeting tool, rather than a matter of life or death. Why stop at abortion? Why not be pro-euthenasia for anyone collecting government handouts? That does save taxpayer dollars, does it not? If you just kill all the poor, then wouldn't we be saving tax dollars?

I listened to it. It was your filth that cut out crucial parts of his interview that made it sound like something it wasn't. Sorry you have baby ears and can't handle the reality of some people's situation. So you try your best to make it look like something it isn't.

That was in response to a poster suggesting that at no time is an abortion needed to save a mother's life or that preganncy is never a risk to health. Nothing to do with late term.

Really. Which part was cut out. What WAS it then?
