Oh great, just what we need, a boring, mopey, whiny Batman who hates the role that he’s playing and has to be begged to come back each time.

The actor with the biggest chest/shoulders and smallest legs should play Batman

Michiel Huisman from Game of Thrones, Orphan Black and The Invitation.

Didn’t think about that.

Any sucky Ben moments were due to the script or plot. He was the most imposing Batman outside of the DCAU.

Eh.. just let Andy Serkis play him in a suit and then CGI Batman and Bruce Wayne. Make him look exactly like yo8u want him to.

The next Batman should not be Bruce Wayne.

You want Terry McGinnis baw?
Also, if they go with a short shite as Bruce, I hope they work camera angles or get the man some Kiss style platform shoes.

Either him or Dick Grayson. If they want continuity in the DCEU, that's how you do it.
Or, they could have some real fun and go to Thomas Wayne using Flashpoint.

Afleck gets alot of shite for being in that version of the DCEU, but in all honesty I thought he did as good of a job as he possibly could've with what he was given and what was going on around him.
He in a Matt Reeves batman movie would've been brilliant.

Eh... I much prefer Nightwing than a Dick Grayson Batman.

This would be crazy good but may be relegated to the streaming platform.

Honestly, the DC animated features are so much more entertaining than the DCEU flicks, that I'm kind of nervous about them remaking those.

Yeah, Affleck's Batman was probably the best part of Batman vs Superman. He couldn't change the Martha lines, but the parts that focused on him were actually the strongest parts of that movie.
His character was just sort of there in Justice League, but it's not like he did a really bad job. If there had been a solid movie around him, his portrayl would be in competition for one of the best, IMO.

Honestly, I think people had trouble separating the character from the douchiness that is Ben Affleck. I don't think he, personally, did a bad job in the role, but he wasn't great either. I wasn't offended by his portrayal in any way. The movies were both just a mess.
Paranoid and vindictive Bruce Wayne attempting to murder/assassinate Superman was just a bridge too far for me.
