BUT BATMAN'S WHITE. Does that not matter anymore? I'm not at all trying to be racist.... but can you imagine the outrage if they'd have picked a white actor to play Cyborg or Black Panther or Storm? Affleck got shafted imo, he made 2 movies with Zack Synder.
If Batman doesn’t get to be in Gotham City and his rogues at all before moving outward to the larger DCEU, you’re not telling the story right.
Batman had a car chase scene with Joker and Harley Quinn, an alleyway showdown with Deadshot and a battle with Zsaz (?) not a real arc at all.

Because Batman is one of the best comic book characters of all time with a huge fan base and the only property from DC Films that hasn't completely sucked arse.
frick the Justice League and the DCEU. Just make great standalone movies from the heroes for a while.
Batman himself lends to a great Universe. Batman, Batman and Robin, Grayson becomes Nightwing, Jason Todd as Robin , Tim Drake as Robin, Batman Beyond, etc.... each get their own movie. He has some fantastic villains as well. Joker, two face, scarecrow, clay face, Ras, freeze, ivy, bane, strange, red hood, etc...
You could make a multi movie universe out of just Batman.

That's pretty close to what they're doing. The Batman, SS, Birds of Prey, Joker, and they're supposed to be doing a nightwing and gotham city sirens down the road.

I no longer care for anymore Batman movies. I understand Batman along with Superman is one of the most popular if not the most popular comic book character from both Marvel/DC combined. But I am fatigued of Batman. I really enjoyed the Aquaman and Wonder Woman movies. I want DC to focus on some other characters now.
Give me a flash movie. Give me a Green Lantern movie that doesnt suck. Give me a Teen Titans movie. Give me a Martian Manhunter movie, etc.

1) I really thought Ben Affleck was a terrible choice when it was announced. But he did a really good job.
2) I could go another decade without a Batman movie. Just let it breath DC.
3) Surprised no one said Tom Hardy. Although I’m not sure how that would work.
