Cocaine. Never can find anything pure enough to justify the cost.

Bagged potato chips...while I know it's necessary...a bag with 50% chips and 50% nitrogen still seems a bit much to me. That's only one of the many reasons Pringles rock.

Cabin air filters are like $7 and super easy to change. Engine air filter, get a K&N for $40, clean and oil every 50,000 miles. Oil change for my Silverado (8 quarts of oil) is $50ish at the dealership. You’re getting hosed.

Most repairmen services are a rip off. If you can follow simple instructions and watch YouTube, you can fix almost anything in your house.

Yep, I've done two pretty major repairs on my Samsung dryer using Youtube.

Even the repair guy who came out to test the sensor on my dryer said I should do it myself. Had to replace the heat sensor, and last year the sleeve on one of my wife's shirts got caught in the rubber door seal on the washer and screwed it all up. Ordered the part and replaced it myself.

1. Chick-Fil-A - It is not good for you & it doesn't taste that much better than any other fast food to where you can almost take your family of 4 to a sit-down restaurant for the same price. People just love paying more for someone to be nicer than normal to them.

2. "Organic" foods. They aren't better for anything but your ego. Multiple studies proving that organic foods offer no real health benefits vs other foods.

3. Milk - if your aren't buying great value, you are being ripped off. If you want to support local, you aren't getting anything better for your money, but good for you.

Anyone say college yet?

The price of college is up 1100% in 30 years but wages remain stagnant.
