Maybe I missed the whole premise and it's like Fred's meets Putt Putt? That's the way some of you sure want it to be.
It is. It's just a fun golf thing to do with non golf people
You don't go there and practice

Do you have truck nuts on your Duramax?

Because top golf is not even close to playing on the course

I hope Top Golf is happy, it's tearing Baton Rouge apart

Comparing Top Golf to practicing at a driving range is like comparing the batting cages at Celebration Station to a real baseball practice.

A pro golfer or someone with aspirations of being a non amateur golfer should never set foot in a top golf.
That's the angle I look at his argument from
I play golf regularly (when it isn't cold as frick or raining), yet I see no need to bring clubs to Top Golf. The one time I went to one in a different city, it was me and 3 fellas hanging out, drinking, eating jalapeno poppers, and just having a good ole time, hitting golf balls at targets and talking smack.
The fact that I am a golfer (while not a great golfer, but a golfer nonetheless) made the games more fun and gave me an edge over the other fellas, who were not avid golfers....but I don't see TopGolf as some "hard-core golfing experience".

Got damn! Didn't realize my thread was going to result in a knuckle check at Sonic.
And how the hell did I earn 22 downvotes for this? Not my fault things fell apart on page 2.

Top Golf is all fun and games until a group of asians get assigned the bay next to you. Prepare for several balls to get sliced dangerously close to your face.

You practice your swing, whether baseball or golf, at the range, cages, celebration station, top golf, back yard against the fence, where ever the frick you want to practice your swing.
Why do some many people here act so pretentious?

I'm gonna bring both sets of clubs next time I go.

Yeah, bringing your own clubs to Top Golf is kinda douchey, imo.
