Are they gonna change the concessions at the Box this year ?

I havent been to a game in a couple years. but I remember last time I went the food was horrible! And I think they ran out of ice too.

ConCESSions at LSU have to get better. To get worst would be very difficult.

Last time I was there I was near some fat man who yelled all the time. They should get rid of him.

As for the current box:
-"Baseball at the Box" back on the press box
-Chair back the entire stadium
-Permanent batter's eye
-Flags of all conference teams
-Enclose the back of the grandstand
-Create a concourse that goes all the way down the lines to match the grandstand
-Work on some sort of public parking across Gourrier to recreate the tailgating atmosphere that existed along Skip Bertman Dr. with the old box

I've never understood the expectations regarding concessions at a sporting event.
I guess it's because I grew up when the only concessions were hotdogs, peanuts, popcorn and soft drinks. You didn't go expecting to find fantastic food.

I can honestly say.. after almost every LSU football game since 2003, at least 75 baseball games, and all but maybe 15 basketball games in that time, I’ve never gone to an LSU athletic event and thought “man this would have been a swell time if my hot dog was a little better”.
I’m convinced most people here go for the social event than actually watching the team. Even at home I can barely eat during games anyway

Y’all could just get something on the way to the game that tastes better and is cheaper. I only buy drinks at the games, not food

They originally wanted to but they literally had no more room to expand the old box to upgrade the facilities. Indoor batting cages, upgrade player lounge, add suites, etc just didn’t have room for any of that.
As far as the new box yes for the fans it is not the best there is but as far as player amenities, which is what really matters to get the players, it is the best in the country.
