It wasn’t, it was Canada and 0 and after Canada apologized and tried to squash it numerous times, Aranda even setting up the last of these meetings, but 0 acted like a child.

Not opinion, theory.
Tell me it doesn’t make sense?

Would you admit to a huge frickup 5 weeks into your new job?

Or a smaller frickup that still leaves plenty of blame on others?

If O admitted to meddling it’s because he frickes around big time and knew if he didn’t get ahead of it he’d get burnt.

Canada wasnt going down with the O sh

The real truth is O did not like the false starts and illegal formation calls we were getting due to Canada's shifts and motions.

He wanted Canada to cut back the window dressing which is a huge staple to his offense and Canada felt insulted. O pretty much wanted the offense you see now and Canada wanted to run his offense that he knew worked. Things were never good from the start. Has nothing to do with players not understanding his concept. They had to learn it period and O kept his hands all over it making it harder than it should have been.

Advocate article
quote:

The LSU head coach inserted himself into the offense, defying a pledge he made last fall in a campaign to land the full-time job. He invoked changes to offensive coordinator Matt Canada’s unit, tweaks that were visible during the first half of Saturday’s loss against Troy.

He’s stepping back now, the coach suggested in his weekly news conference with reporters.

quote:

“I wanted to simplify only the shifts in motions. I knew we were going to start two freshmen (offensive) linemen, so I wanted the guys to be in place so we knew how to block them,” Orgeron said. “That's all I've ever done. This is Matt's offense. He runs it. He calls it. He scripts the plays. This is his offense.”

quote:

“That's totally up to Matt,” Orgeron answered when asked which offense LSU will move forward with. “I'm going to leave that totally up to him. And, again, I will say this, I stepped in last time for the first time. And I wanted to simplify things in order for us to have less penalties, better execution.

“At halftime, he felt like he needed to shift and motion more, which he did. And that's totally his option,” Orgeron continued. “This is totally his offense.”

Fables don’t make sense

This is called seductive reasoning.

Why would you take an extremely bias self I terested Parties version as whole cloth truth?

I think that was a BS story. Aranda wants an offense that scores points and gives the lead over to the D to hold.

My opinion. No link.

The irony and double standard is beautiful. It’s a fantasy when you don’t agree with it even when evidence is presented, but if you do agree not only do you question it but you sponsor it with absolutely nothing besides word or mouth which you happen to agree with. You are a zero and not worth anyone’s time.

Bayou just proved me correct. If anyone cares to remember the first few games we had trouble lining up and false starts. In the interviews O would adress needing to get this cleaned up.

Not long after this he started meddling with Canada's offense and we were running less motions, Against Troy we did none of Canada's offense really and it showed. After halftime things changed and the offense picked back up till it crashed again in the bowl game so its not hard to see the truth.
