If the boss tries to fix the problem and makes it worse, and we lose a game to a Sun Belt team because of it then who deserves the blame?

And wouldn't the assistant have every right to be upset in that instance?

That’s funny since when you’re presented with facts you claim they’re lies

It was!

Sorry but asking the offense to score more than 24 fricking points should NEVER be too much.

We gave them the ball on the 25.

And we only scored one of our TDs because the DEFENSE got us the ball on the fricking 5.

Or when the boss promises to let his coordinators coach then as a defensive line coach tries to run the offense the boss is an idiot.

Sure...
Except 21 points and 4 turnovers is a much worse job than 24 points and taking away 2 turnover

It's not, but it was a total team fail. They ran all over us

Dont worry, orgeron is still to blame. You've still got that

Canada also wanted Brennan for his offense and O forced Etling instead. I remember the Alabama game and watching Etling struggle badly missing streaking wide open wrs all night in a game where we outgained Alabama and should have won.

If I brought in a guy to do a job and he felt like he needed certain players to run his offense, I at least give him a shot. O never really gave Canada full control over the offense from the start it seemed. Especially when you consider you only saw maybe 40-50% of his offense from Pitt installed here.

As for the bowl game it was well assumed Canada was out and relieved of playcalling duties going into the bowl prep and it showed.

A

They made it worse together. One by telling his boss frick you.

Both of them are to blame but O is the boss.

Refer back to my assistant burger flipper post if you don't understand the boss employee dynamic.

200 yards riushingnon 42 carries isn’t running all over us.

The had 365 total yards.

shite the defense getting 2 well times turnovers is the only reason the game was 31-7

These people have mo clue about the HC/coordinator dynamic.

Ultimately the HC is involved with and responsible for everything

That's because the players hadn't picked it up yet. That's on Canada. He's supposed to be teaching the offense isn't he.

Well the boss deserves a much bigger part of that blame though. The degree of blame isn't close to the same.

Canada obviously didn't handle things as well as he could have but the man obviously was given assurances regarding the degree of autonomy he'd be granted and the spirit of that agreement was violated.

He never told the boss frick you, the boss didn’t really want him or hire him and he was told by the boss he’d be free to run his offense. The boss lied so he went to the real boss and the problem was fixed. His offense then saved 0s season and likely his job and he was rewarded, like most who work for 0, with a knife in the back.

use Your brain!

We know O meddled with the offense to some extent.

He admitted to just asking Canada to simplify it, AFTER the Troy shite show.

players said in interviews that we were running plays from 2016 and that we needed to get back to the offense from the spring game.

It’s very possible O admitted to a small truth to sorta ease over the higher truth that he totally fricked up the offense.

We also know they got in a fight.

Something tells me O asking Canada was not as simple and fricking professional as everyone likes to pretend it is.

You tell your boss to frick off for no reason you get fired for cause.

You don’t get a 1.7 million dollar buy out.
