People keep saying "it's just a game". No it isn't, it's a very large corporate business which we the fans enable. The shite our kids play in peewee through high school is just a game. How much time and money are involved in attending games: tickets, parking, refreshments, Hotel rooms, and merchandise? Wrong team is going to the Super Bowl and EVERYBODY knows it, there should be something that can be done

It also gives those with not much good in their life a brief reprieve.

Connect 4 is just a game. This is 4 months of players not seeing their families, hours upon hours spent to get to this moment, fans spending thousands of dollars to be part of this only to have all of that hard work, sacrifice and resources thrown back into all of our faces. frick this

One thing to lose on a player mistake, happens all the time. But this game was stolen from the Saints, much worse than last year.

It’s not just a game when shady dealings are destroying the game. Tom Jackson went off said there is no accountability.. legacies and history have been altered because of the incompetence of the league. Thad’s Tom Jackson. A very respectable former Broncos great

And that’s why this is all fake.

Yep. These are people that have no emotional ties to the Saints whatsoever that are pissed about what happened. Think about that for a minute. This is one of those plays that will likely cause major rule changes to happen in the near future.

Just remember. All of us here could be dead before we see the saints with a shot at the super bowl. It is such a difficult thing for our franchise and to have our chance taken by a no call is horrendous.

Might be just a game to some people but for the 55+ people that were robbed of their 225K bonus it's not. NFL is a corporation and should be held to the same standards other corporations are when they deceit and lie to their clients. I for one was discouraged with the kneeling but didn't boycott like many did. The constant manipulation of the game to put big markets at the highest selling point to maximize profits is sickening. I enjoy playing fantasy football but I have become disinterested in the NFL. It's not just because of one game but has been a slippery slope for some time. Yes I'm bitter but what true fan wouldn't be. I'd rather go hunting then watch the NFL, which is what I did for the most part of this season anyway...

The officiating and the way rules have been implemented over the past decade really is taking the fun out of it. It's not just this game or call. Its every ticky tack call it every tv timeout its everytime you watch holding and PI calls get "interpretted". I'm not done as a fan but something needs to change. It used to be fun to watch win or lose even though the losses hurt it was still fun. That hasn't been there for me in a long time

We got 6 points on twotrips to the red zone. One was a TD drop by the TE.

And what's your fricking point??? The other team is playing defense.

I don't know why ppl chime in with this type of shite. As if the fact that we didn't score a TD on every single redzone opportunity makes it OK for the refs to hose us.

fricking kill yourself

That’s the worst part about this.

Every rule has been designed to make contact, especially to the head and defenseless receivers, be MORE recognized and penalized.

This was a play that would have been a no brainer penalty even back in the 80s.

With the protective culture around player safety and the tendency to give the benefit of the doubt to receivers to limit contact by DBs, it just makes this no call all the more obvious as a sanctioned attempt to benefit the league’s new cash cow franchise.

It's absolutely just a game. It's not a fair competition either. Every single week you hear it's a business. Well business is booming. It's an entertainment business so rigging their own games to benefit themselves is perfectly legal. Go on with your life and forget this happened because if you watch next year, you will see another game end in the exact same way. This is the National Fixed League and it didnt just start yesterday. This us decades in the making. If you can't handle it quit watching.

Are you referring to the TD that was dropped after the TE was held then had a non-PI call while he was twisting away from the defender? That drop?

Very true. The only people that benefit from this are Rams and Falcons fans.

Everyone else should feel uneasy.

You won’t see another game end like this. There has certainly been bad calls but this is easily top 3, if not #1, worst no call on NFL history.

You need to watch more NFL games if you think this is top 3. I understand your frustration but there were games played before this one that had plenty fans pissed because of the bad calls on the field or non calls. Nothing will get corrected. The league designed it so every call is subjective which lets them dictate the games.
