I have to travel some for work. My wife tells me they ask everyday when I will be home. It feels good to be missed as much as I miss them.

I’m so sorry.
How old is she?

Tough to say what my favorite part is...it is all so wonderful.
My son is 12. We do so much together. Throw a football (now I know my dad got as much out of throwing a football with me as I did), shoot pistols/revolvers/rifles, rough house, terrorize his sisters. In about 15 minutes we're going to watch some walking dead on Netflix. I told him when he turned 12 we could watch it.
With my middle child (10), she has such a sharp wit and is an extrovert. She can have control of a room in minutes. When I use dry humor she's always the first to laugh and play off of it. She has such a huge heart - she can't stand to see anything hurt and it makes my heart weep and sing at the the same time to see that in her because I'm so very proud of how caring she is but I know the pains of this world, when they come (they always do), will cut very deeply for her.
My youngest (6) is the most creative. I am in her room right now playing before bed. A cheese spider just ate her and apparently I made it poop her out by pulling her out from under her covers by her legs. She can be anywhere her mind takes her at any time and I get to be there too.
Yep, I'm in the sweet spot...nobody is in diapers and nobody has hit full on puberty. I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts.

I truly enjoy seeing my kids do their extracurricular activities. I like to see how they react to the ups and downs of success. And how they respond with their work.

I cant imagine any thing more beautiful than my two daughters sleeping.

My oldest is 3 and there is nothing better than when she is acting like a not crazy female and climbs in my chair to cuddle with me. I know it will end one day and I dread it. Hopefully her sister will enjoy the same.

There are so many things I love.
My son will be 11 months on Monday. So he is all over the house now. I love seeing how curious he is about everything. He refuses to sit still, there is just too much to see.
His laugh is great too. I have a mirror on the head rest behind his car seat. When we were driving around earlier he kept waving at himself in the mirror and cracking up. He thought it was so funny.
Also when he wakes up or I pick him up from day care and he gets a huge smile on his face when he sees me. Melts my heart.
I love that kid so much.

My daughter is 29 and my son is 25. I’ve enjoyed every moment of their lives and being part of watching them turn into adults. I’m blessed.

I just became a dad three weeks ago to my daughter. I will be glad when she gets older and we can play and do things. The nights right now are so exhausting
Hold on tight in these times. My daughter was about 3 weeks old when, in the middle of the night, she made her first real eye contact with me. It was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.
My little girl is 7 months now, and I'd say the best parts of being a dad are
1. Any time she smiles and starts crawling towards me
2. Watching her learn to solve problems - how to crawl over/around things, how to stand, etc. Just seeing her learn every day.
3. Letting her sleep nestled up on me instead of in her crib. Just the softest, warmest, comfiest thing on the planet.

I love embarrassing my boys and getting on their nerves. Lol. I can't wait until they get to dating age. I will definitely come out to meet their dates in my boxers, scratching my butt.

I’m sorry I only have one upvote to give to my fellow grandpas.

He is! We are blessed.
We were at a wedding tonight that was past bedtime. He was so happy and not grumpy at all. He was being passed around to total strangers and just smiling and laughing. The kid loves everyone.

Best part for me is everything. These kids love us unconditionally and they give us so much purpose. I wouldn't trade any of it.
