The only thing I’m not digging is that the octagon shape of the belt is not equal all around.
The octagon is the inner most shape. Then there is banner across that and then that whole shape has an outline.
The actual inner octagon is equal.

It’s funny that you care.

Looks like one of those old power ranger morphers.

Doesn’t anyone really care about most of the topics that get posted on this site?

I mean if you want more than that then go follow Darrell Rovell, I’m sure he’ll have some more in depth analysis on it

the outside border isnt meant to be an octagon. Its a border on an Octagon with a word that is longer than the width of the octagon.

Funny how ESPN promotes UCF now that they have the rights....what a strange coincidence
???
Yeah it’s a real conspiracy that they want to promote the league they paid billions for
What I meant to add was how much they promote it now as to how much they promoted it before, mainly on the ESPN.com website. And yeah, it is a "duh" moment. They did the same with hockey. When ESPN used to have the games, hockey was always plastered all over their page but when they quit having the games, the coverage went down very fast.
I guess what I am saying is it's funny how what is "newsworthy" on the ESPN site changes based on what they have the rights to broadcast.

Wow, even after losing to LSU the give themselves a new title?

Seems pretty logical

The old belts (made by Dave Millican) looked way better but this is cool:
Red stones will be added to the side plates to mark successful title defenses, which means the days of simply piling up new belts are over.
Eight countries that produced UFC champions will be represented on the Legacy belt, with flags from the U.S.A., Canada, Brazil, the Netherlands, Poland, Belarus, the U.K., and Ireland, on the front plate.
I'm a big wrestling belt nerd. Millican and Reggie Parks made most of the classic WWF belts until the late 90s. Charlies Crumrine (a belt buckle maker in Vegas) made the legendary Big Gold.

Probably. Dave Millican made the old ones and Dana is a cheapskate. These new belts are being made by someone I've never heard of called "Jae El Manufacturing" so they're probably cheaper.

Champs will only keep one belt even if they're champs in multiple weight classes now
Posted on 1/18/19 at 2:15 pm to wildtigercat93
God that picture embodies all thats wrong with UFC. Instead of having a current champ present the new style and trying to make a star, Dana can't help but to put himself over.

The diagram the UFC released says the only way to get multiple belts is if you win multiple weight classes

Weird, I follow MMA and never really thought about how the belt looked. Must be an ESPN thing.
