The man knocked an 1,800 pound Steer on his arse.

Earl Campbell.

Is Campbell the most difficult tackle in NFL history?

Based on that video it looks like he took out Bevo’s handler. Bevo barely got touched

No disrespect to Walter Payton or AP but Campbell was definitely the most violent runner in NFL history.

Earl Campbell was a mensch on the football field, one of the most dominant players ever, a literal shooting star with how short his career was due his violent style of play

I have to say it didn’t look like he took out Bevo. His handler appears to have fell inn bevo’s back leg but that was it.

I worry about some of you sometimes. He knocked over a handler, not the steer.

Earl Campbell is probably the most violent runner I have seen in my lifetime. He had no regard for his body.

I remember when Hollywood Henderson met him head to head on about the three yard line. Henderson stopped him but he got up wobbly and dazed as he ran off the field, from the impact
