What is the board's take on Bill O'Reilly's "Killing" series?

All are quick weekend reads that I have found quite entertaining. The only issue that I have found with some is that he's taken theories and presented them as facts at times, but otherwise I've enjoyed reading them.

I’ve read killing England. I enjoyed it

I've enjoyed all of them. I feel like he acknowledges when he is unsure what the factual aspect of things are, and even states, "The authors of this book choose to believe," to try to help avoid some of the confusion.

I've read Patton, Kennedy, Reagan and Rising Sun so far. I am working on Killing England right now. I have found all of these to be entertaining and well-written.

I've ready Patton, Lincoln, Hitler and The SS... and as previously stated, I've enjoyed them all.

I can't imagine them being anything better than terribly fictitious, but I have two history degrees so I don't know much.

I haven't read any of them. O'Reilly was such an a-hole on TV, I feel like I would hear the sound of his annoying and condescending voice as I read each word of his books. The whole "killing" this, that or whomever title theme seems stupid to me as well.
I'm probably wrong. He's selling the shite out of them, so somebody likes his writing style and "Killing" something titles make them easy to remember I suppose. But I still don't like the guy.

Waiting for the "Killing of Anthony Scalia".

Read 'Killing Patton'. I thought it was so-so. I had issues with some of his facts, and thought he went down some alleys that didn't have much to do with the main subject.

I enjoyed all of them.
Super easy reading and not as dry as a text book

O’Reilly was the best political talk show host on television hands down.

Posted like a true revisor of history in the truest sense of academic elitism.
You lost me at "two" history degrees.
The books are very good btw.

I though Patton was weak. Mostly a biography with his death occupying only a small part of the book. Author proposes a conspiracy theory, but presents no evidence. Big letdown.

Enjoyed all of them but Killing Jesus got a little carried away with presentation of “facts”.

I actually thought Killing England might be about the open borders Jihadiism and looked to see it’s the American Revolution.

Agree with you 100%. It’s too bad he had all the other issues that got in the way of some really good reporting.

This is more true than you would care to admit.

Good quick reads I did a few and enjoyed em. I liked O'Riley on fox too bad some libtard rail roaded him out with funky charges.
