Mahershala Ali is playing this character flawlessly. Dude is built for this role.

Fan fu*king tastick so far. Ali is killing it. Dorf is a welcome surprise.

After watching first two episodes, I'd say this season has promise.
Although HBO Must be using the same sound crew from Sharp Objects. We had a lot of "what did he say"?

In the meeting between Wayne and the other guy after the 1990 depo, the other guy mentions something about Dorff's character doing well for himself (in the same vane as the 1980 Prosecuting Attorney now being the Arkansas AG -iirc). Interested to see what Dorff's role is in 1990 andif that was some veiled reference implying he knew (or finds out) more than he does now.
