'll should be scared, Biden would kill Trump in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and possibly Ohio.

quote:it WILL be interesting to see how far he goes, but it is axiomatic that in the primaries Republicans run to the right of their actual positions, while Democrats run to the left of their actual positions.
However, I want to see how much further left than Obama (Biden) goes during the primary. I'm sure he's going to go full socialist and frick up the blue collar workers.
Except Trump. His unfocused populace message pretty much defied this axiom.

I think Trump probably still wins unless we fall into a recession, but Biden is the one that scares me the most relative to the other clowns. He will carry PA, for example.

Biden is too low energy to withstand the rigors of a campaign for President at his age.

before the field narrowed as a result of other candidates dropping out after super Tuesday, Trump was barely at 30%. If the primaries had been simply trump versus Cruz or Rubio, for example, I suspect that the end result would’ve been quite different. Trump beat a divided field through sheer tenacity.
30% share of a 17 person field for the man with no experience, with Ben Carson at #2 for a long time with also no political experience, was fricking impressive. You had mult-term politicians like Lindsey Graham and Bobby Jindal at the crappy undercard debates. Trump performed beautifully.

which is exactly how Biden is likely to win the Democratic primaries for 2020.
I don't know if he will or not, he's just an old white guy with a creepy demeanor. His only real pull are Obama voters and those people might jump on Kamala or Cory Booker if they run.

2020 is shaping up to be a strong field for democrats, much better than 2016 imho
As a Republican, I love that these are the people y’all are hinging hope on.

Biden has no shot in the dem primary

He can kiss 40% of the Minority vote goodbye; they vote Ethnic, and won't fall for the same old white guy rhetoric.
And the Hard Left will drag him into radical land. Will be fun to watch.
Castro is the Candidate to watch. He's a legit threat.

I’d wager that the average registered Democrat in Iowa does not represent the majority of the Democratic Party

If the Dems want to win they have to go with anti establishment candidate like Bernie. Trump will just fall back on his old campaign and use the current economy to tear apart a Biden or Warren

“Outsiders” have done well in early GOP races since the advent of the Tea Party. Herman Cain was the frontrunner early in the 2012 polling. But he faced a smaller field and stepped on his own dick.

I love how Democrats love to complain that Republicans are old white men so what is their solution to TRUMP? Running their own old white guy!
Posted on 1/13/19 at 11:08 am to Parmen
Biden is too old, too white, and too weird. He will not get the nom.

the only one I have seen that has a real shot to actually win
You're an idiot if you don't think Gabbard, Harris, or Beto could win a 1v1 General.
Sherrod Brown is Joe Biden but 10 years younger, from a swing state, and with a black sounding name - doesn't have a chance?

I hope he does, as he will instantly eliminate all the other buffoons that are throwing their hats in the ring.
The tough thing is he will actually stand a shot against Trump.

this wont go well for him
he doesnt have the means, even with the MSM gestapo running interference for him, to cover up all the women and children he has groped in public in front of the press much less the thousands he did that to privately out of sight of the cameras
