This has to be all about leverage. Why be a DB coach under Kirby, who himself is a DB coach? If they offered him a Co-DC or even DC title that’s one thing but why leave for the equivalent job at a school you have no ties to whereas LSU is your alma mater?

All but one hire he has made has been either his former buddy/mentor or a USC guy that is way overpaid while here.
He’s even state he wants teams like those mid 2000 USC teams. It’s not a shock.

Can someone please name me one successful place that Bill Busch coaches CBs with great success? Even with Aranda he was just the coach for safeties at Wisconsin.
