I will say that we've got a shot at ending this DL haul strong. Also, there's a big transfer name to keep an eye on that we have a VERY good shot at. Can't give the name away yet because he hasn't technically said he's transferring yet. He'll have to sit a year, but if it works out, we'll all be pleased.

The DE from USC is rumored to be open to transfer. Although, I have no clue how good he is right now.

Ray wants to play TE. Since Tenn has a few committed already they don't need him at OT. Looks like there's another spot opened for a better player in this class.

Don't we need a TE? I thought the plan is to move Turner to center eventually. Just tell Parker he can play TE, get him to sign, and when he puts on 40 pounds tell him he has to move to the O-line to play. This doesn't seem that hard.

Just curious how you feel about B. Young w LSU? NOLA.com had an article with how he grew up a fan of LSU and it seems as though school where’s he’s committed is having a numbers crunch. LINK

So far in this class, we've taken McClendon and Turner at TE. Turner is 240lbs...it might be unlikely that he'll ever be a center, as he'd need to gain 60-80lbs for that. Maybe he can turn into a Dillon Gordon type TE for us, which would be great.
I'm hoping Parker hops on as an OT from the start. Gaining the 30-40lbs he'll need to play OT will be a lot tougher if he's not training and conditioning for OL right from the beginning, imo. We need to convince him that this is best so that he's not as much of a project OT for us. We certainly have enough project OT's as it is.

Hard to get a good read on. I think with a strong visit this month and we can be squarely in it. His interest is real, but how serious he is about it is what's hard to read. Says the right things.

He said "favorite school," not "dream school."
He did use "dream" when talking about a possible Oregon visit.
