I just talked to Ray Parker's cousin at work. Great source. I asked him why Ray didn't sign last week. He said he has a trip set up to visit Tennessee. He really likes the Vols.

He MAY have a visit set up. But, to say that is WHY he didn't sign is as incomplete as his transcript.

You SAID, "I asked WHY he didn't sign ..."
Then, listed the visit to UT.

You are not going to get a lot of reaction over this. And judging by your second post, it definitely won't be the reaction you are seeking. Nobody is going to freak out about any news about Ray whether it is good or bad.
If a player was committed and did not sign during the early period something is up. LSU fans who follow recruiting don't fully expect Parker to sign regardless of the reason. If he does GREAT, if he doesn't it won't shock the world.

Didn't they already sign two top OT's this cycle? TE would make more sense given that as well as Parker's latest comments

His high school was out of school the day of signing, that likely had something to do with it. Now I think he's just doing something he's never done, travel and visit places for free.
