I hate Bama fans but it's amazing how well they take a loss like this when you look at their boards. I guess winning so much can soften it, but man....could you imagine this place after a beat down like that?

Maybe it's just TigerDroppings, but it seems that we're way more emotional.

Because LSU's losses are systematic... Bama fans see theirs as flukes or just a bad game.

As you posted that, Bama fans were poisoning trees all over Clemson's campus.

I will get down voted, but LSU has some dumb fans.

Jess something or other, the head writer on Tidefans, cranked out a long column within 30 minutes of the game saying the program was at a crossroads and could go in either direction for here. I was impressed at its depth and objectivity. Apparently there have been some evident fissures that no one has wanted to talk about before now, one being the high staff turnover.

Exactly. I have to give it to them - at the very least, their online presence conveys objectivity and very little hysteria.

Ours on the other hand, is juvenile and bi-polar.

Announcers talked about that with regard to Justyn Ross recruitment... #1 Player in Alabama did not go there due to that issue.

I think most people realize that if we won every single year it wouldn't be any fun. Also it would probably just end up ruining CFB and people would start to look a little more closely into what's really going on down there.

So yeah, a loss every now and then is good. Would have been nice to keep it close though.

Frankly, this almost makes light of a significant portion of our "fanbase" - damaged and dysfunctional after a loss, to the point of self-harm is probably closer to target.

Exactly...but then I wonder if it's just because TD is pretty liberal in allowing anything and everything, so it kinda festered and became the culture here. Unfortunately, this is where lots of people get their idea of how LSU fans are.

Astute Bama fans (yeah I know), will tell you their DEF was exposed last night for what it was. VERY young secondary, and little depth on the DL. I work with two Bama fans, who I would NOT put in the homer category. Both think they are going to struggle up front next season with potentially 5 DL/OLB's leaving. Both also recognize the improved rosters, and incoming recruits, at UGA, LSU, TAM and UF.

Yup. They got stomped by 4 touchdowns and Tua kept saying, "we just sort of beat ourselves."

Their admins deleted all of the terrible threads Bama fans started. On the SEC rant, and AU fan took a screen shot of the threads on the Bama board and they were NOT taking it well, ha! Apparently, that post had been deleted as well.
It was disgusting some of the things some of their fans said about Hurts after their loss to Clemson 2 years ago.

The mods are very different. Bama mods control content on those boards like a Jim Jones Jonestown cult

That's all spot on.

The reality is Bama lost everyone in the secondary last year and didn't have the guys to replace them. Since they don't call holding in CFB on the elite teams (yes this includes Bama), the good teams will just hold every play and the secondary can't get bailed out by the pressure which is what happened yesterday.

I have been to many LSU - Bama games, fortunately many LSU victories.
The Bama fans are very poor winners. Even pre Saban, they always seemed
to dismiss their losses and didn’t go into full meltdown like LSU fans do
