Don't come here with facts.

IT'S NOT GOING TO WORK AND I'M GOING TO KEEP SAYING IT NO MATTER HOW OVERWHELMING THE EVIDENCE IS.

A metro area of 800k, New Orleans, Lafayette and northshore all an hour away, SEC fanbases coming in a few weekends every year, a college with 30k+ students. Not to mention it's in a good area for businesses to have company parties. You don't think any combination of these demographics will keep it afloat?

I think it will stay afloat as long as the city pays them to stay in BR

What? I was just responding to your comment

It's an upper middle class establishment and br has one of the poorest communities in the country

I said nothing about a "demographic problem." Sorry you can't understand what it means to be one of the poorest communities in the country

Pittsburgh has several big industries. I'm not sure if you're serious right now.

I'm very familiar with both areas, and I've actually been to TopGolf. Western Pennsylvania, Central Alabama, and Southern Louisiana are all filled with blue collar Trump enthusiasts with middle class incomes.

That Yeti/Bass Pro/Duluth Trading Company crowd along with the nearby industry in those areas are why TopGolf has invested in Pittsburgh, Birmingham, and Baton Rouge.

It has demographic problem in that the income desparity is large. The bottom of that disparity isnt a top golf customer so it's not really relevant to what we're talking about.

Incentives aren't getting paid.

Did Top Golf even get any local tax incentives anyway?

EVENTUALLY they'll have service road connecting to an I-10 Interchange at Pecue.

That would be good.

They should definitely extend South Mall Drive and Reiger Road to Pecue before they let anyone develop that.

I think New Orleans offered some kind of kickback to redevelop the old Times Picayune property.

Top Golf passed on it. Drive Shack may give it a try.

Reiger looks favorable. I’m pretty sure that wetlands are nearby on S. Mall Dr. Wouldn’t that be some obstacle?

Trees have been cleared and some markers laid down for utilities and such. But work was held up by this dispute/miscommunication. Kleinpeter family felt the state should build their access road to property in the area(NE corner of Pecue and I-10) and state said NO. That's resolved now I THINK.

It Gone look like dis.

High school kids have been loving the cleared area off pecue for mud riding. There’s been groups out there for the last 3 or 4 weekends

Y’all trippin if you think NOLA ppl are going to make up any notable percentage of the Top Golf customers.

We bitch when we have to drive 15 min to the other side of our own city. No way we’re driving to BR in our free time for anything other than a football game.
