I just spent a week in the hospital for diverticulitis with a stomach abscess. Even though that shite isn't contagious, apparently it's going around cause I know 4 people that had it recently. Same symptoms so she really needs to get her arse to the ER. I had a PIIC line(for antibiotics) and a drain bag for 3 weeks. shite is no joke!

I dont do it for where im at now but I used to do it pretty frequently in past jobs. Especially during lunch when id have a few drinks at lunch. The worst was when I worked at a dining hall in college, I used to get wasted at work with vodka in a water bottle.

Sounds like I'm not the only one you are trying to convince

even if this is somehow another person, you really need to get some help regardless of this thread. It won't get better on its own

Yea but she keeps on complaining about sharp pains in her stomach that come and go.

She also said it might be pelvic inflammation disease

Not pancreatitis. Pain would be higher under ribs radiating into the back. Sometimes knee dropping pain. Not down that low. Probably gastro issues. See doc, quit booze and probably get on Omeprazole for acid control.

That could be a symptom of Ascites (fluid buildup). Sign of liver failure.

That and bruising easily. Of course yellow tinted skin/eyes are things to look for. Even if these are not the problem, it's just a matter of time if she is putting away that much Vodka everyday. How many years at this rate?

Id say Ill usually drink about at least a 6 pack a day. Thats not much compared to what a full time alcoholic drinks. I dint have a problem.
