Anybody who gives a shite about hunting should care. PR is important. Only about 7% of the US population are hunters. We have no legislative power. If anything hunting related comes to a vote we have to rely on non hunters who have a favorable view of hunting. If hunters keep doing stupid shite like this they will piss a bunch of folks off who will start pushing for legislation against hunting. You're a moron if you don't think this could happen. In Jersey they stopped black bear hunting even though it was recommended as a management tool by wildlife biologists. There are more cat ladies out there against hunting than there are hunters.
