Kid from Ascension Catholic in Youngsville. His name is Cole Simon and he was a sophomore this past season. Has a great arm and a very good athlete. Great baseball player too! He needs to hit the camps this coming summer

Walker Howard is the real deal, and he has quite a bit of tape out there for you to look at. I am going to throw out a dark horse name, Dawson Wallace freshman at Iota. Wallace started at WR this season and backed up a 4 year starter at QB. Wallace and Howard are the same age and played with and against each other in travel baseball. Wallace is not as tall (6'1") but a better athlete, probably the best overall athlete in that age division. A ton of speed and huge arm. Howard is in a better system and will face elite completion. It will be interesting to see how Iota uses and develops Wallace.

will by Evan Williams out of Sterlington. He is my nephew and let me tell you he will be great! He runs a 4.4 and only in 8th grade. Im not saying this cause he is my nephew. Have a look. I think he could be special. Evan Williams highlight in one middle school game
He’s got good size and good speed (not 4.4) but the highlights literally don’t show him throwing any passes. Kinda hard to judge a qb when you can’t see him throwing the ball.
At this point he looks like he could be a good LB or TE.

Arch Manning. Son of Cooper an 8th grader at Newman.

He does have serious speed. Maybe not 4.4 but not far from it. He can throw very well, unfortunately at that age group they don't throw that much at all. If not QB he can definitely be a RB. Coaches make him play offense and defense cause he is that good.

His name is Walker Howard!!! He is the chosen one.
I hate to admit this but I did see him play a few years ago in 8th grade ball and was thinking, Damn that dude is going to be really good. Glad to see he has continued to progress.

I remember Jamie catching tons of hell, mostly undeserved, from fans when he played at LSU. If his son is as good as you guys say he is, I hope Jamie doesn't remember this as well.

good looking kid, but I'd be willing to bet my house he don't run no 4.6. That's equivalent of the Dad saying my kid throws 90 when in fact its 83.

Why wouldn’t he go to Ole Piss to father his dad and grandfather??

That Auburn game is more Lynn Amadee's fault than Howard's, IMO.

Jamie had a very good career at LSU. He had a live arm, could move, was tough, made big plays. He certainly deserved better from his coaching staff. His sin was being at LSU at exactly the wrong time. I'd sure as hell take him now.

Howard is not better than Holstein.
Hes twice as polished as holstien was as a freshman. And howard is eay more athletic.
I understand what you think because holstein was solid as hell.
Howard is special...trust me on this.
As a 7th grader, he won the camp MVP at Sabans camp.....fyi the camp was for 8th graders! Let that sink in

Acadiana has some young talent at Qb. Howard of course. VC has a sophomore ( not sure of his name ) coaches I’ve talked to through their district think he’s real deal. I’ve heard same about kid from Ascension Episcopal. Live in laffy and never knew Jake delhomme had a son.

At the end of the SEC Storied "Book of Manning" Archie was asking all the grandkids what school they cheer for. One of the kids said LSU. Maybe it was the young QB and we have a shot.

Hard to judge how good he is without seeing him throw a pass
