Do you really want to go on record as saying Flynn was kept in an interview room for 63 hours so that the SC could bill the government for more money?

Did I say that you mouth breather? You clearly don't know the difference between salary and billable hours.

One final time, and still sounding skeptical, Sullivan asks Flynn, "If you want to proceed because you are guilty of this offense..." Flynn says he is, and wants to proceed. Sullivan accepts the plea.

What

The

frick.

Judge just offered Flynn a get out of jail free card - basically begging him to take it.

And he declined?

That does not make sense.

Judge is still probing, asking Flynn's attorneys:

"My question is, how is raising those contentions about the circumstances [of the FBI interview] consistent with his acceptance of responsibility?"

Getting out of his plea wouldn't get him out of jail free.

It would take him to trial phase. It looks like he wanted to avoid that.

Deep State must have threatened to harm someone Flynn cares about.

He would have to go to trial most likely if he went back on the plea. I think it's clear the judge knows this is frickery but Flynn is capitulating to end this for him/his family

Because he knows that they will continue to harass his family if he doesn't capitulate.
something is very odd about this initial reporting...

That does not make sense.

When you have a guy like Robert "Inspector Javert" Mueller, a man who's already ruined the life of Steven Hatfill, threatening your son with criminal charges, you tend to do what he wants.

That is correct. Flynn is protecting his family. And if he walks away and allows this they will not go after jr.

He’s got a deal now that other charges won’t be prosecuted and mueller has recommended no jail time. Why would he want to keep this going and risk the deal? Would have to pay additional fees and likely face additional exposure

All Flynn has to do is say he was entrapped and the judge will throw out the case. It wouldn’t go to trial.

Again. Makes no sense.

Sullivan describes Flynn's crime as a "very serious offense" -- a high ranking government official lying to the FBI, and doing it "while on the physical premises of the White House."

Exactly. His partner just got indicted for foreign agent charges (18 USC 951) and conspiracy to defraud the US (371) and Flynn is depicted in the indictment as a co-conspirator. He doesn't want any part in those charges.
