While it's no Citizen Kane, LOTR or Saving Private Ryan, I would submit it's one of the most entertaining and enjoyable movies in the last 25 years.

A little film? It’s budget was almost 100 million.

There are 10 movies made in 94-96 alone I can name off the top of my head that were better easily

The by the numbers script, the horrible truncated time line with kids who never age, the way he gets away with acting like a total a-hole to his performers and they never really call him out, the idiotic battle sequence w/the cheesy as all get out CHAAAAARRRGE!!! led by the bearded lady, the very poorly done treatment of the actual history, the stupid forced fake love triangle, his wife and her "all we need is love" over the top perfectness, the we're so poor but we love each other so much a shadow light box made on the spot is the only gift we need... I get that musicals are going tend to have a certain level of cheese but this one was waaaay over the top.

I think of 10+ movies that were better than that film just in 2017.

No shite. 2017 was a decent year, and the Greatest Showman isn’t within sniffing distance of the Top 10 of that year, nevertheless the last 25.

Greatest showman is garbage.

One of only a couple movies I ever walked out of mid play.
