If Trump was actively colluding with the Russians, why would a Russian agent need help from the NRA, or anyone else, to infiltrate the GOP?

Has nothing to do with Trump. A Russian gun rights activist had some connections and dealings with members of the NRA...seems logical.
The only political statement in the entire article...
If she were even successful, then she should be charged with espionage or whatever, has no relation to anyone really...just herself and her own doing...

Because the NRA completely changed its message for 2016. It also gave its endorsement to Trump ONLY because of this, not because they've endorsed the Republican for forever.
