"Georgia senior cornerback Deandre Baker could likely be a first-round selection in the upcoming NFL Draft but said Wednesday that he will suit up one more time for the Bulldogs in the Sugar Bowl vs. Texas on Jan. 1. "
Seems like LSU leads the NCAA in early departures and bowl sit-outs.
Blah Blah Blah, money/family/injury. All players have the risk, which is VERY rarely realized, but LSU leads in weak-chested players who don't play. We also lead with in players in NFL and little to show for it. This all means something.
Bring the down votes

Bal blah blah
“I’d rather a player risk a fortune so I can See my team win than appreciate the effort he has given so far and respect his decision and hope for the best for a kid who has already given a lot to the university”
Muh Georgia

So we had one guy not play and one guy play and we are the leaders?
LSU fans are so fricking stupid.

who the hell has sat out a bowl game besides Greedy? and don't say fournette because he was legitimately hurt

So like Devin White who is on the LSU team and is playing? That kind of chest? Did you ever think that it “seems” to you LSU has the most people sitting out the bowl game and leaving early because you follow LSU closer than any other school? LSU has had 2 players decide not to play in the bowl game and one of them was because he was battling injuries all year.

So...IF it were a playoff game, would you still risk millions?

Did you forget about Devin White?
Stupid fricking post.

That's debatable.
There were plenty of "sources" saying that Fournette sat out to protect his draft status.
We do seem to have a very high number of guys leaving early for the NFL draft. That's been going on for years. Orgeron said he hoped to change the culture of that at LSU.

We have 1 guy sitting out.

He is looking at $25+ million guaranteed. You'd do a lot for that money.
Also, it's admirable for a man to take care of his family. Even if you don't agree with how he does it (legally, of course).

So, if you had an opportunity to change your family's financial future you would put it at risk for a bunch of people that have no concern or care for you or your family?

Look another selfish fan thread about a player who’s sitting out a meaningless bowl game, because he’s making a life decision for his future.
You’re embarrassing yourself.

I’m just glad he’s thinking of his family more than some selfish dipshit on a computer. When your life revolves around taking care of your family, you make decisions like this. Your life and pride evolves around the performance of college kids. Wins on a Saturday are the highlights of your life. It’s all you’ve got.

I agree with the first part of your comment but to act like his teammates coaches and his university don’t care about him is bullshite. I don’t want him to play in the bowl game for me as a fan I want to him to battle with his brothers that have went to war with him all year and his coaching staff that has given him an opportunity to play.

So a poor kid from a rich state isn't as poor as a poor kid from a poor state? Hmmmmm
