So it's in Frisco, not actually Dallas...?

I always get a kick out of looking at old photos of Central. This one is from 1959.

Yes.

But Frisco will be bigger than Dallas Proper in the next decade.

It's the defacto Dallas at this point.

Damn even in 1959, TX recognized the need for service roads along their major highways!

t is odd they are moving. Wonder why.

Corporate headquarters make it easier to attract corporate sponsorship for its tournaments. Texas now offers that in a consolidated area whereas Florida doesn’t offer that to the degree that Texas does. Texas will surpass California as the worlds largest economy in 10 years too.

True, but DFW is the center of the Universe. Just ask us, we will let you know how awesome we are.

I'm not sure what the amount of golf courses in a place has to do with the corporate arm of something. Livingston Parish is the wolverine boot capital of the world, should they move their headquarters there?

We used to laugh at that statement, but the growth up DNT is beyond amazing. It is now branching as well along SH121.

The developers that built Stonebriar Mall were time travelers. When that went up there was absolutely nothing around.

Let us not forget Collin County has the #1 High School football team in the USA.

This is pretty old news. A deal might have just been finalized officially, but this deal was done over a year ago.

Dallas is 6 times bigger by population. You’re saying a million people will move to Frisco alone and Dallas won’t grow at all?

And you said this about las colinas months ago. Now it’s frisco.

Not gonna happen. It'll get into the plano-irving-arlington range max. Frisco would need to add a million people in less than a fifth of the land Dallas has. Unless frisco-plano-mckinney decide to merge over the next decade, and decide to go with frisco.

Toyo going to frisco/collin county definitely was a game changer for that area. "White flight" from dallas had gone a bit far from dallas proper, and it was starting to come back in. No longer.

Screwed up arlingtons push for trying to be a major #3 player in the DFW metroplex too. Glad cause them constantly changing wikipedia to include themselves in the metroplex name was getting annoying.

Never said Las Colinas would outgrow Dallas Proper.

There are actual articles showing Collin County is outpacing Dallas County in population.

Don't be obtuse.

Outgrowing =/ outpacing by a million in 10 years.

One is growing and the other is already mature and still growing. Your dumb comment is dumb.
