I think that was 9-3 with a canceled cupcake. The problem with your comparison is that we lost three disgraceful games. That was a worse season than this one.

Losing to Arkansas 2 years in a row would do it to you. That schedule was soft compared to the current schedule.

Lost to #1, #10, and the team that had the most votes for an unranked team (essentially the #26 team)

This year, we have lost to #1, #10, and #21

We lost this year to Felipe Franks and a team we had never lost to this century, and got shut out at home for the second time by Bama.

Let's not pretend like this year's losses are anything special.

Do you really think 2018 and 2015 are equal?

None are needed. Any idiot can win 10 wins at LSU was the cry before we hired 0.

Nope.

Auburn was better that year than this one, Arkansas was better that year, Ole Miss was better that year, Bama was Bama, State was better because Mullen was still there and they still had Dak, A&M was probably the only team that was worse in the West that year than this one and even that wasn’t by much

“ Disgraceful games”

Ark and Old Miss won 18 games combined in 2015. While that doesn’t excuse losing to them, calling those L’s disgraceful is a naive assessment. imo

so you are saying going 1-3 vs ARK and Ole Miss in 2014-2015 and losing games by a combined score of 31-86 had no bearing on Les Miles losing his job?

2014 also had losses to Miss St at home and a 7-41 road loss to Auburn.

but you say the way we lost these games didnt matter

The 2015 regular season which is what almost got Les fired they went 9-3 and got blown out by Bama Arkansas and Ole Miss and got a Texas Bowl birth and your best win was to number 25 Florida

2018 regular season you lost to Bama and on the road at top ten Florida and a tough 7OT loss at A&M and it got you a Fiesta bowl (best bowl game since 2011) and your best win was against the number 5 Georgia by 20 and had one of the toughest schedules in the country.

But yes please continue to push the narrative that those two seasons are similar. Not all records are created equal. Do they need to improve and build upon this next year? Absolutely and if they don’t go minimum 11-1 next year then I will probably be on your side.

not that I'm defending Alleva here, but those 2015 losses were all back to back and progressively got worse

Alleva was utterly spineless for not firing Miles after A&M
