old enough to remember the critics SAVAGED this movie when it came out. something about kurt russell delivering every line in a john-wayne style cadence and the worst movie of the year.
i think i saw it twice in regular theater and about 12 more times when it hit the dollar theater.

You really thought Escape from L.A. was better than Escape from New York?

I've always liked Breakdown.

Not his best, but I'm still definitely enjoyed Stargate and it may be his most influential as it launched a franchise that the Uber geek in me loves

Anyone ever seen "Follow Me, Boys"?
Follow Me Boys on The Wonderful World of Disney promo ad (on Youtube)
I forgot he was in it. Saw it in the theater and a few years later at the drive-in. Saw it on Disney a few times. Loved it as a kid.
I think it was part of why my dad became a Scoutmaster.

My top 5
1. Tombstone
2. The Best of Times
3. Big Trouble in Little China
4. Overboard
5. Escape from New York
I have yet to see Bone Tomahawk...As I understand it...one of those on my list will be usurped once I do so.

It has had a couple of mentions on previous pages in this thread. That being said, when I think of Kurt Russell I think of Backdraft, I recorded it off of HBO and wore out that VHS tape as a kid

backdraft for sure. holds up pretty well.
good cast. know a few firefighters that were extras in the funeral scene at the end, which i think, is a real tear jerker.
