I imagine we would start resting players for the last two weeks of the season.

If we were to go 2-0 or 0-2 in those two final games, and our seeding wouldn’t be impacted, that’s what I would do. Especially the O line.

If the Bears beat the Rams next week and we handle business against a pesky Bucs team...then all bets are off.

Edited to denote the difference between "rapped" and "wrapped."

if the 1 seed is still possible, you play it out

if we can't get the 1... then sit everyone

I wanna see Payton and Tomlin do a rap battle at midfield.

I would only sit those who are banged up. 3 weeks is too long a layoff. I’d use the time to get a ton of reps for the young wide receivers. I’d also go sparingly on Kamara and Ingram

Is there a scenario where we have #2 wrapped and can't go up or down with 2 games to go?

Activate Brandon Marshall and start resting injured players. As others have pointed out, 3 weeks is too long of a layoff.

Why give up on playing one less playoff game and home field?

Never mind. Poor reading skills

If the Rams beat the Bears we are the 2 seed. Our offense just did not show up in Dallas

Last 2 weeks? Nah. Last week against Carolina, sure.

If #1 seed is impossible and Chicago/NFCEast champ is enough games back you HAVE to rest the starters. I could care less about beating the Steelers or Carolina once we already lock up the division.

it will most likely work out that way and it sucks because i see us resting and the result is carolina gets a win, possibly even 2 wins from us, and that might be enough to let them sneak in as wild card. frick the panthers.

i also not sure if its in our long term best playoffs interest or not to hand the steelers a loss there, even though we dont need to beat them to get in

We aren’t going to rest anyone as long as the Rams keep winning. There’s always a chance they blow the last regular season game so you have to play it out. 1 week of rest is enough. Too many and you risk messing up momentum
