The dire way it's presented is a hoax. That's why they keep changing what they call it...thats why every single dire prediction they have tried to scare people out of their money with, has been wrong for the last 50 years.

This is so clearly a politically motivated cash grab by socialistic politicians that only want to tax the holy hell out of their citizenry. It’s also incredibly arrogant to think that men can control the climate and/or that we’re the sole reason that climate changes.
In the 1970s, we were headed for another ice age, yet in 40 years (incredibly small timeframe in the history of the world for the climate to do a complete 180) we’re literally burning the earth up? What a drastic change in events.

When the other 19 are expecting the lone 1 to take the brunt of the impact it’s easy to vote in favor.

No, it really doesn't. Being a stooge is never a wise move. You go ask Germany how their "renewable energy" plans are working out. WE are the only country that is reducing greenhouse emissions. And we're doing so while increasing our energy production. It's called CAPITALISM and FREE MARKETS. The most efficient economic system devised by man. IT WORKS. Let Europe, Asia and South America dink around with planned economies. We'll pass. And not only that, we'll get better results because of it.
