The flag wasn’t on DW

according to the announcers, however they were incorrect. The ref looked right at Devin White as he was doing the superman and threw the flag. And no he was not standing over a downed opponent or in an opponents face when he did it. In fact he wasn't even in the end zone. Both of Hurts were much more flagrant and in your face.

It was on Phillips for something unrelated. People are just idiots

No, It was on D. White for taunting. They made the explanation that he stood over the player and did it. They tried to say if he had not stood over the guy he would not have gotten flagged.

People forget Jordan Jefferson invented the Superman celebration

Actually not true. I thought the same thing back in th day, but Cam did it literally the week before Jefferson first popped it. Plus it was a much less athletic, more spastic looking version of Cam’s.

Are you really gonna bitch about a PI not called on a last second hail mary?

Most of those kind of plays turn into such a massive clusterfrick that I don't know how you can get called for pass interference unless you actually tackle someone or hold their arms to their body with a bear hug.

However, I am surprised there wasn't some kind of penalty when one of the Bama defensive linemen stuck his hand inside the facemask and hit the QB's head on the play or two before the hail mary.

The only thing I thought about when Hurts did that was all the Arkansas fans that must have been passing out in anger like they did when Jefferson did that.

I remember them bitching because they said he did it because he was disrespecting an Arkansas player that had passed away a week earlier.

Arkansas fans.

see, here's the problem with that.

When you hate a team you dominate, it's ok.

But when you hate a team that dominates you, it just looks like jealousy.

No the first explanation was incorrect - it was quickly corrected to the coaches

The announcers last week were too stupid to look at the sticks and thought lsu got screwed on 4 the down play

And this is exactly why there needs to be a standard in officiating....how are players supposed to know what is acceptable and unacceptable if the officials can’t be consistent on a week to week basis.

You are absolutely right

That call was not on White. It was in Divinity if I recall D White was clear about it in an interview

Once again LSU fans try to find a way to be a victim

What if I told I've hated them since birth, i wouldn't pull for them if my own brother played for them, he'd be an idiot like you. So save your logic for yourself, some things people never like, such as gumps, gump sports teams, traitor nicky satan, bare bryant, aj, deer antler spray, basically all things related to the gumps and happy about it too.

If he had finger-wagged, shushed, and taunted, yeah. But Hurts is low key and it looked low key more like "Remember Me? Number 2".

IMO, Saban should have started Jalen with Tua in reserve nursing multiple injuries. After the first 2 series he was obviously too hurt to play and that made GA look good and confident. Saban looked rattled and un-Saban. I think he would have lost if Tua had been able to stay in.

GA is the same team we curb-stomped when O "Threw The Kitchen Sink At Them" and went for it on our 38 and 4 other times on 4th and converted, ala, Miles vs FLA 2007.

I know it would be nice if after we kicked the shite out of GA they had returned the favor and kicked the shite out of the team that kicked the shite out of us. If you follow? Jalen just put GA back in their place when Saban could not see the problem.

Superman, okay, so he deserved it.

2010 was like the most aesthetically unpleasant successful season ever.
