I believe in explaining the risks of vaccines to your kids and letting them decide. Obviously you have to wait until they're a couple of years old, but why not let them decide what to do with their own bodies?

This year our 4 year old opted in and our 6 year old declined. We respect their autonomy.

You're going to hate yourself when your 6 year old dies from a disease people eradicated decades ago.

I applaud your brave stand. You and your partner are true visionaries and will be setting the trend on children and how they choose their future.

So brave. It's an honor to post in the same thread.

You think a 6 year old fully understands the ramifications of not being vaccinated? Did you ask them whether or not they wanted to be circumcised? Or be potty trained? Or go to school?

They're children, and getting them vaccinated is part of being a responsible parent

People like you are what's going wrong in this world.

You're going to let 4 and 6 yr. olds make decisions rational adults should be making???? They don't understand the consequences of their decisions, not only for themselves, but for others around them if they do get sickened by one of the diseases that have been pretty much absent in present society.

At least the 4 yr. old chose wisely unlike his own damn parent.

Think about a kid lying in an iron lung due to polio====if you can even find one that is in operation.

Such a cuck move. Grow up, and be a real man and lead your family. I guess you'll let your kids decide if they go to school, eat veggies or junk food, etc. Heck next time you get a job offer or promotion you should ask them to vote on it too.

Better ask them to let you hump their mommy again, cause you dont want to accidently have another baby w/o their approval. Especially from the 4 y/o cause being a middle child may ruin his life.

What a a joke
