Kurt Russell Netflix movie - the Christmas Chronicles

Anyone else watched this? I thought it was decent. Had some funny parts and also some really cheesy ones. Overall a good Christmas movie for a family. Kurt Russell as a sarcastic and also naive Santa is pretty funny. Nothing really groundbreaking as far as Christmas movies go. The elves are more like the mogwai from gremlins than little men, which was kind of interesting. I’d recommend it.

I heard a commercial for in on Pandora, and Kurt said "let's get this party started".
That was an easy no for me.

There’s an entire scene where he is basically harassing people at a restaurant with intimate details about their personal lives in an attempt to get a ride downtown, not realizing that it’s socially unacceptable.

Glad I don’t base my desire to see entire films on a 1.5 second sound clip like an insane person...

And it's a made for netflix santa movie starring Kurt Russell.
I could keep going.

I played it for my 3yo the other day, and the few clips that I noticed seemed decent enough.

It wasn't great... but it was an older Kurt Russell having fun in a low budget genre movie. And he's turned in some magnificent work in those flicks. I still watch Sky High every now and then.
Kurt seemed to be having a great time, it was fairly funny, and they didn't beat us over the head with some horrible social message. Its an easy watch.

That scene was a masterpiece.

Turned it off after that scene. Maybe I’m not in the Christmas spirit yet or need a young child in the room laughing to make it fun.

The ads on Spotify make me think of the Tim Allen Santa Claus movies, whatever they were called.

I saw this movie this past weekend. I just wanted to come on here and see if its been talked about. If you're looking for a light and funny movie to watch, I would recommend it. It won't win any awards or anything, but it is still a good watch.
Note- There were a couple of cursing involved, not a lot at all, just fyi if you wanted to watch with the kids.

I really liked it. It’s no Christmas Vacation but I liked it a lot. Definitely recommend.
