This is a weird thread.
That certainly wasn't my intention.

I just saw a lot of people saying we already surpassed expectations and that Jimbo has more pressure in this game.

I think that although we did surpass preseason expectations, if we lose this game, we will fall under current expectations.

And I think LSU has all of the pressure in this game.

It's asinine to pretend that you know what goes on in the man's head then state that as fact to give you a reason to slam the man. If you can't slam him on known issues what makes you think it's ok to make it up? Its dirty and you're dirty for doing it.

I use his past behavior and project forward based on that.

Naw I agree with your OP. This is a big game. It just took a weird turn. Should be a competitive, hard fought game.

Two questions to anyone on this topic. I am not bias one way or the other as far as coach goes. Just wanna win brass every 3-4 years.

1 Are you satisfied going 10-2 every year?
2 Where do you draw the line on 10-2 seasons with no championship or CFP appearance?

Don't know why but we always regress throughout the season

Wait so you are saying O did a shite job this year??????

Is that what you honestly got out of my post dukke??????

So when I say if the team loses, o should shoulder most of the blame, because, you know, he's the head coach. And when I say if the team wins, he should get his fair share of the credit, I'm saying he did a shite job?

You've got to be the only person on the rant that would come to that conclusion for what I posted.

Ill gladly answer since a couple of folks took shots at me bc I expect the head coach to have us ready to win against an inferior team when we have everything to play for

1) personally, no I don't think 10-2 every year should be the goal. I thought we aspired to win championships here. It seems several posters are ok lowering the standards for whatever reason
2) see answer to number 1

the must win west or make playoffs next year hotseat.
There’s a 0% chance of that happening even if we make the playoffs so why not just fire him now?

We are facing a legitimate defense today

Interesting.

Because defense has been a weakness for the Aggies for years, and a new coach and staff comes in and turns them around immediately???

I’ve been told that isn’t how this works

Massive game for our program.

Really worried they embarrass us. We’re going to really miss Fehoko and Fulton.

You are such a titty baby.

There are good reasons for LSU fans to be cautious about O. If we go 10-2, some of that reserve toward him will disappear. More of it will disappear when he finds a way to have an offense that's not worse than the one Cam gave us.

Any proven coach can win 8 a year. Thus the a blind monkey can win 8 a year here with these recruits and facilities. Who said any coach can win 10 a year? With conference championships and now a 4 team
Playoff bowls and wins are rendered useless

If we were still in old AP polling system and bowls only? Sure. But now? Post BCS? That ship has sailed. It’s win hardware every 3 or 4 years or bust. I had clown poster here tell me the HC here is going nowhere if he doesn’t win west or make playoffs next year. Again. What’s the difference between 8 and 10 if you’re not winning hardware? What are we hiring for? They’re ready to run malzahn off in auburn and the dude has win hardware every 3 or 4 years. 2010. 2013. 2017. Miles won nothing since 2011. How long would alleva hold the current HC without hardware?

This is the 3rd most important game of the season next to the 1st game & then Bama. We really need this win, critical from a recruiting standpoint! Does anyone think O may be waiting to talk to someone about the OC job? Remember, SE took this job because O pushed him. He is older, how much does he have left to continue? I thought he wanted to spend more time with his family? Will be interesting to see going forward...

Ask Willie Taggart at FSU. his team is loaded with 4 and 5 star talent. They won 5 games this year. What a fricking joke.
