I’m sure it’s just wishful thinking, but the desire to correct his one professional failure could be yuge.

If $aban left, Funebaum just might have a miscarriage live on air.

If you wanted to prove yourself in the NFL would you take the Cleveland job? Even considering such a move should call your sanity into question.

While I don't think he makes that jump, it wouldn't shock me. Saban has a huge ego and you just have to believe that deep down it eats him alive that he failed as a head coach at the NFL level.

A joke is Saban leaving Alabama for the most miserable job in the most miserable place in America. He is a country boy and so is his wife a country girl. They live in one of the most beautiful, pleasant places in America. On gorgeous Lake Tuscaloosa. In the sunny south and his family is all close by. He has one of best sports jobs in America where he works on a gorgeous college campus. He is not swapping happy for misery even if it thrilled you.

If you are Saban, sure. You are arguably one of the greatest coaches ever, so you know he has the confidence that he can fix Cleveland. They don't lack for anything. Plenty of money in the front office and they probably have the best cap figure in the league. Great support from a starving fan base. While Cleveland itself might be a miserable city. There are great spots there just like there are in every city. The only thing keeping Cleveland from winning is quality leadership on the field and in the front office and he could fix that easy. In fact if he ever wanted to try again Cleveland is the perfect place. If he succeeds then he will be considered the greatest coach ever at any level of the game. if he fails again well they will just say see, Cleveland is so fricked up even Saban couldn't fix it. I don't expect it at his age but I could see him wanting to erase the only question in his coaching resume.

Dave Aranda will make for a good replacement once Saban takes that Browns job.

I think he will do great with all the talent already on board. And he'll be able to continue our success in recruiting Louisiana.

Cleveland is very attractive right now, they have legit talent on both sides of the ball. A couple more OL then they will be good.

Saban could leave for an NFL job but I doubt it. It would be a top tier job,not Cleveland

Yeah but IF he turned that program around and won a Super Bowl. He would without question be considered the GOAT football coach in all facets.

This time it’s true because this year Alabama could beat the Browns.
