Why doesn't that add up?

Because no one ever says "10.9545454545 yards per pass"

People simply round to 11

The BEST thing LSU does is play for 60 minutes, that I know I can count on

I know that this is going to sound like an excuse, and maybe it is, but 150 of Nick Fitzgerald’s 241 yards came on two plays.

One where our CB slipped trailing the WR for a 82 yard TD and a trick play that went for a huge gain.

The MSU game was much like the last 10 minutes of Auburn. Turnovers in the red zone, missed FGs and tons of stupid penalties.

That's my point smart arse. They wrote 11.0 yards per pass, not 11.

All the 6-6 talk was based on the schedule being more difficult. The Aggies have played a tougher schedule.

True. aggies are ranked 1 nationally SOS LSU is #2. LSU schedule
still considered very difficult.

It's such a crock that we suck so bad on the offensive side of the ball.

It's annoying.

Hopefully we have a great game.

Announcers we’re saying Aggies would win 10 games a few minutes left and in the Auburn game.

This might not be the best matchup for LSU, but I think it's a worse matchup for A&M. The line of thinking out there seems to be that A&M's run defense will force LSU to pass, and that this will automatically mean that our offense will struggle.

But the problem is that A&M doesn't have a good pass defense. As long as LSU isn't stubborn (which is always a possibility) and takes their shots down the field, I think we'll have enough success there to open up the run. LSU's number one problem is pass protection. I don't think A&M is all that good of a pass rushing unit.

lastly, their QB is not elite, and you have to be elite to beat LSU's secondary, at all. That means we can key in on their running game. I don't see them getting 200 on LSU, but if they can't pass, they'll need a lot more than 200 to beat LSU, IMO.

241 yards / 22 passes = 10.95 yds per pass. Round up to 11.

Barely. One SoS site posted by some random Aggie on the Rant had TXAM #1 and LSU #2 in terms of SoS. That was after the UAB and Rice game respectively.

The week prior to those games, it was LSU #1 and Aggies #2.

Schedules have been about even and LSU's schedule has been as expected...difficult.

Aggies will jump on the 1st qtr. They will be ahead by 10. They will fold late in the 2nd qtr and into the 3rd. LSU will will by 10.

What about Auburn?

Turnovers will kill Aggies.

i think my preview is better than theirs. at least mine was substantiated by season long stats. and then they come up with these gems

quote:

Mississippi State and Florida were able to move the ball
state had 3 points. fitzgerald was completely stymied in that game. fla had 20 points mainly because of one of lsu's worst offense performances of the season

quote:

it is possible to run on this LSU defense
sure it is. but good luck with that.

quote:

LSU isn’t explosive enough to get into a shootout
how do they know this? lsu hasn't had to do this all season. the one example MIGHT be bama but they killed everyone this season

quote:

or come up with big comebacks
do you even auburn?

quote:

The Aggies will hold the ball for well over 35 minutes – like it always does
a&m is at 35mpg in conference games. lsu is at 31mpg. basically a wash

quote:

The nation’s second-best run defense
a&m will only be the 4th best sec defense lsu has had to play

doesn't seem like their perspective is built on solid ground
