Who has the hottest seat currently? Is it Matt Luke, Malzahn, who?

Is it possible there are no SEC coaching vacancies this year?

With all the turnover the conference has had in recent years, probably none truly on the hot seat.

If the offense sucks again and O loses to A&M, the anti O sentiment will really get going though

I can't really see any changes in the SEC by firing. Almost all of the coaches are either doing well, just recently got hired, or recently got a context extension.

Plenty of hot seats, but finances probably precludes that no changes come this year unless someone leaves on their own. Malzahn and Morris are on the hot seat, but Malzahn's contract and Morris being in his first year protects those two. VU's Mason will most likely be retained, especially if he wins Saturday against Tennessee and makes another bowl game. Matt Luke is coaching the Land Sharks through the valley of the shadow of death and then he will be set free in favor of another Freeze-type ready to move up from a Group of 5 school.

Would have to be Matt Luke. Muschamp and Malzahn have huge buyouts protecting them.

If Vandy loses to UT this week does that put Mason in the cross hairs?

Looks like no one goes. While ole miss should fire Luke, they were the most undisciplined team I saw all year, I think they keep him for another year. Could be wrong though so him and Mason are only two possibles?

I actually think so....yet, ironically if Vandy beats UT and gets a bowl he could probably get a contract extension.

He is no James Franklin, but Vandy is very close to winning seasons each year under Mason

Had Odom lost to tenn, florida, etc he'd be gone, but unfortunately, he saved his arse by beating gators, vandy, and tenn

Morris isn’t even remotely close to being on the hot seat. I’m not sure where you would get that idea.

Malzan & Muschamp contracts protect them this year, Ole Miss just made Luke their official HC so he isn't going anywhere this year, Vandy doesn't have very high goals and Mason is probably going to be as good as they can get and keep so he isn't going anywhere, and Barry Odom saved himself with big wins over UT & UF so he isn't going anywhere. There will be no head coaching changes this year in the SEC. Now coordinators on the other hand is a different story

Luke has another year. Guy has been dealt a difficult hand and performed relatively well (I am no apologist for OM by any means). NCAA screwed OM with the investigation, etc.

If Auburn fires Malz after firing Chiz I am not sure who would want that gig. That would be like LSU firing Miles and then O for averaging 10 win seasons.

I believe Ensminger's seat is warm. Not only the goose egg against Bama, but a less then prolific offense in general.

Muschamp's seat will start to get hot next year if they don't improve

He doesn't really have any credibility to warrant anything other than a short leash

LSU's Offensive Coordinator Steve Enzminger. Granted, even if LSU hires a new coordinator, I believe they will simply demote Steve back to being the Tight Ends coach where he wanted to be anyways.
